Human Resources Strategy for Researchers European Charter and code

UNICAM's Commitment to Implementing HRS4R

The European Commission has officially confirmed the "HR Excellence in Research" accreditation for UNICAM's Human Resources Strategy for Researchers.

The development, by European Research Institutions, of a Human Resources Strategy for Researchers represents a strategic document that all European Universities are invited to adopt in order to substantiate and provide evidence of the objectives and progress achieved in implementing the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for their Recruitment.

One of the pillars of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers concerns "Open, Transparent and Merit-based Recruitment of Researchers (OTM-R)" — a policy that makes the researcher's career more attractive, ensures equal opportunities for all candidates, facilitates mobility and, in general, contributes to increasing the effectiveness of investment in research.

European Charter and Code

The European Charter for Researchers, signed by Italian universities in Camerino in July 2005, is considered by the European Commission to be a crucial instrument for attracting the best talent from around the world to European universities and for raising public awareness of the key role researchers play in Europe's social, cultural and economic development.
