Within the framework of KreativEU – Knowledge & Creativity European University, the University of Camerino (UNICAM) promotes and hosts a programme of events, training activities and international initiatives addressed to students, researchers, academic staff and professional services staff from across the Alliance. These initiatives contribute to UNICAM’s commitment to strengthening the European dimension of higher education, fostering mobility, cross-border cooperation and the exchange of knowledge, skills and best practices. The events presented on this page offer members of the KreativEU community the opportunity to engage in shared learning experiences, collaborative activities and dialogue across disciplines, cultures and institutional contexts.

Spring Open Science School | April 20-24 2026 In presence + 2 online days
The Spring Open Science School strengthens participants’ understanding and practical skills across the four core pillars of Open Science: Open Access, Open Data, Open Educational Resources, and Citizen Science.
The School supports the development of a shared research culture within KreativEU and provides tools for implementing Open Science in transnational and interdisciplinary research contex.
Student Festival | June 04-05 2026
The student festival organised by the University of Camerino is a participatory event designed to actively engage students and strengthen their sense of belonging to the university community. The programme includes an international music evening with food from different countries, fostering cultural exchange and informal interaction, as well as a hands-on workshop in an innovative food laboratory, where participants can experiment with food and pasta making. Through shared experiences, creativity and collaboration, the festival encourages knowledge exchange and connections across cultures and disciplines.

Enhancing Cultural Heritage through Software Tools and Digital Services | Walking Seminars
February 2027
An on-site walking seminar focused on digital innovation for cultural heritage. Activities include guided explorations, expert discussions, and a practical review of digital tools applied in real contexts. A core output will be a case study on Knoway Systems, a UNICAM spin-off working with municipalities on the digital preservation and promotion of artistic and bibliographic heritage.

Hosted in Camerino (3 days) and San Benedetto del Tronto (2 days), this seminar combines scientific talks with hands-on activities in UNICAM’s Food Lab and field visits to food and beverage enterprises (pasta production, coffee machines, winery, distillery). The programme includes a congress organised by the Department of Biology and Nutrition.

KreativEU - Student conference | November 19-20 2025
The KreativEU Student Conference 2025 at the University of Camerino is a student-led academic event within the framework of the KreativEU European University Alliance. Designed to foster active participation, interdisciplinary dialogue and peer exchange, the conference features presentations, discussions and contributions from both student and academic voices on topics of international relevance, including law and geopolitics, as well as cultural visits that enrich the experience. The event promotes collaboration, strengthens the sense of community among participants from different backgrounds, and encourages the sharing of knowledge and perspectives across the KreativEU network
