The Level I Master's Degree in Clinical and Sports Biomechanics has an ambitious objective regarding the creation of new professional opportunities for a professional figure that is currently almost unknown in Italy but that represents a fundamental element for intervening effectively both in the clinical-rehabilitation field and in the athletic-sports field. The Master's Degree addresses the study, analysis and measurement of human movement from a clinical-rehabilitation perspective (reduction of injury risk, knowledge of joint and muscle biomechanics for the optimization of rehabilitation, pathological biomechanics, etc.) and from an athletic-sports perspective (economy of sport-specific gesture, maximization of physical performance, biomechanical analysis of the individual phases characterizing the various sports for the improvement of the result, etc.), proposing itself as a high-level specialization for clinicians, physiotherapists and athletic trainers. To achieve advanced and specialized training in the field of biomechanics applied to clinical practice and rehabilitation as well as sports performance, a training program is offered with the most advanced notions and a high-profile international teaching staff. The training program includes a high level of theoretical know-how and extensive and qualified practical activity. The course will be mainly aimed at graduates in Physiotherapy, Motor Sciences, Fitness and Health Products. Other professional figures with degrees in the health or medical-rehabilitation and/or sports fields can also participate in the Master.
