Recently, aesthetic medicine and in particular, regenerative medicine, a biological branch that involves all medical specialties both in terms of the regeneration of individual tissues and systemic regeneration, has become a significant reality in both the medical and social fields. The culture of well-being medicine, useful for optimizing the patient's psychophysical functions, much felt in the societies of the industrialized West, presents the risk of being satisfied through inadequate and superficial information that, at times, leads to ineffective or even harmful "do-it-yourself" remedies.
In this context, a qualified university education, with excellence in the field, operating at the national and international level, is a guarantee for users. In addition, it is a quality response to which a public university must respond. The Master's program in Aesthetic and Regenerative Medicine, co-organized by Camerino and Turin Universities, aims to provide graduates in Medicine and Surgery or Dentistry, members of their respective Registers, with theoretical and practical training relevant to the practice of aesthetic and regenerative medicine. There are no institutionally recognized specialized figures in the field of aesthetic and regenerative medicine, and it's aimed at those without pathologies who need Pag. 2
to improve their appearance and eliminate imperfections. It is important that personalized treatments like aesthetic medicine and regenerative medicine, are based on adequate patient selection, and that diagnostic and treatment techniques are learned. A special focus should be placed on preventing and resolving any complications that may arise.
Master students will have the opportunity to take part in theoretical training through the use of information and communication technologies (ICT). By doing so, participants who are already professionally engaged will be able to attend the Master's program. The face-to-face training will take place in Cologne (Germany). In the practical part of the training, activities will be planned for single attendants in collaboration with the University of Camerino (UNICAM) and Turin, and take place at Cologne (Germany), at Praxis Hardung (Alarichstrasse 53, 50679, Cologne, Germany) accredited facilities located in areas that can be easily reached by Masters' attendees.
