The
Fulbright
Commission for cultural exchange between Italy and the
United States has administered a programme of Fulbrite scholarships since
1948, when an agreement was signed between Italy and the United States. The
Fulbright Commission is primarily aimed at businesses pre-disposed to
activities in the area of culture and education, and is co-ordinated jointly
by the American and Italian government.
